An asbestos removal control plan must be completed before starting any and every asbestos removal job.
If you plan on carrying out building work, you will need to complete an asbestos removal control plan beforehand (regardless of who undertakes the building work). The Building Act 2004 defines an asbestos removal control plan as, in relation to building work, a plan complying with the asbestos code that provides for the management of any asbestos disturbance resulting from the building work.
